Little did I know that this simple, but so brilliant, line would change my life the way it did.

One year ago, I was a young man living in Eastern Canada, wanting to make film, but without any experience, deep knowledge or even any opportunities. I still wanted to make movies, but without any of this I didn’t know how I would ever be able to do so. “Life After Film School”

Here’s a clip of a TV show that aired on Fox a while back, called “Life After Film School”. The show was about some Film school students interview filmmakers to learn about the reality of Hollywood. If you are living in the United States, you can watch the show online on Hulu.com. If not, you’ll have to do like the rest of us and wait for Hulu to become international.

Don’t assume you know everything

One of the thing that most of the people, when they graduate from a film school, assume is that they know everything about everything. Well, it’s not the case. As soon as your out the door, you’re in a total different world where people do things really differently than they did in film school.
